Everyone loves a little rock and roll right so I wanted to share this fun Rockabilly family session with you all!
If you follow us on Instagram, then you heard the big announcement via Instagram stories earlier today!
If you missed it, we announced our #perfectloveprinted campaign.
What is Perfect Love Printed?
Perfect Love Printed is part of our commitment to ensure that all clients walk away with beautiful memories that can live outsides of their computers, phones and hard drives.
According to research, photographers worldwide took approximately 14 trillion pictures in 2017. However, a shocking 53% of consumers have not printed a photo in more than 12 months, 70% do not have photo albums, and 42% no longer print photos at all.
Technology is changing so fast that photos taken five or six years ago are stored on devices that are no longer supported. Who remembers floppy disks?
CEO of PPA said it himself, “Unless we change our ways, I think time will prove that we have gambled away our family histories — trusting too much in our ability to protect our memories on our phones, tablets, and other devices,”.
What does this mean for you?
Perfect Love Photography has always taken pride in providing a superb client experience, capturing wonderful memories and leaving our clients with quality professional prints and products. However, we have decided to make some changes in order to provide more affordable printing options without compromising our quality.
As a way to celebrate this EXCITING change, any full portrait sessions booked between 2/9-3/9 will receive a complimentary 5x7 custom photo box with 10 professional prints as shown in the image above!
Oh but wait! It get's better...
My birthday is March 10th and I've decided to give away one of my favorite new ways to capture memories and instantly be able to view, touch and keep them: a Polaroid Camera Instax Mini 9! This way you keep the memories printing, no excuses! In order to be entered into the giveaway, share this blog on Facebook and tag Perfect Love Photography as your location OR visit our Instagram for a second way to enter! Good luck!

Want to make Valentine’s Day special for your little sweetheart but now sure how? Here are some fun ways to make the day special for all of you:
1. Bring Valentine's day to your kitchen. Heart shaped cookies are always fun and you can have these in two days with Amazon Prime. Another option is baking some cupcakes and decorating with love themed decorations - I thought these micro hearts from Target were cute! Lastly, for my little ones with dietary restrictions - make a Valentines day themed smoothie (here are some vegan options) or fruit kabobs using the same heart cookie cutters listed above.
2. Go on a date. Yes, with your little one! A few local Miami spots are perfect this Valentine's day. Bunnie Cakes Studio is beyond adorable and there's different cake and cupcake decorating options. Don't want to decorate cupcakes but still want to have something yummy? The Museum of Ice Cream is also a unique and fun location to check out!
3. Craft away! Whether your little one is ready to cut, color and paste or they are still too little to hold a crayon themselves, there's plenty of crafts you can make together! Parenting.com recently shared some craft ideas perfect for tots; click here to view more. Crafting is a great excuse to print some of those phone pictures you keep meaning to print and using them for a fun activity that will turn into a sweet memory.
Comment below with any Valentine's day traditions or fun activities you've done in the past or plan to do this year with your little ones, I'd love to hear them! Also, click here and join our newsletter for future blogs, giveaways and more! Hope you all have a sweet Valentine's day!
When Sophia’s mom contacted me about a “Tea for Two” session for Sophia's 2nd birthday, I knew it was going to be special! I was excited to capture Sophia for the second year and this theme sounded so sweet that I couldn't wait to start planning the session. I won't say too much more but take a look at how adorable this session turned out.
When I planned for this session, I had the idea of having a "getting ready" portion before the tea party and I'm so glad that I did because Sophia really enjoyed this part and I love the images I captured.
Without further ado, welcome to Sophia's tea party filled with tea, macaroons and sweet laughter!
Those macaroons were absolutely delicious, Sophia was so kind to share with me. I'm actually kind of hooked and recently bought a few, lol. Sophia, thank you once again for allowing me to capture such sweet moments. I hope your 2nd birthday is as sweet and amazing as you!
Cheers to our first blog of 2017 & cheers to this gorgeous couple!! When Annie told me she would be getting married at the Hard Rock Hotel in Punta Cana, I immediately thought of the perfect location for their engagement session. From that moment on, lots of planning went into choosing their outfits, her MUA and more! But as you will soon see, it was all worth it because it all came together so beautifully (along with the amazing weather God gave us for the day). Sit back and enjoy this perfect session! By the way, you can't tell in these first couple of pictures but I promise you it was nothing but non stop laughter trying to get pictures of these two; such a fun couple to work with!
I had this banner made for their session and love how it came out! Annie & Dewey can't wait for their November wedding!
These images are out of a fairytale!
Fun fact: this is actually the dress Annie was wearing when Dewey proposed to her!
So much love between these two, a blind man could see how perfect they are for each other!
When I saw this image, I squealed. The lighting, the couple, the kiss - just perfect!
& of course, we had to end the session with some Cubs love because well.. 2016 World Series Champs!
Annie & Dewey, thank you so much for allowing me to capture such a sweet time in your lives! Can't wait to see what a beautiful bride you will make Annie! May God bless you both with many years of love, laughter and happiness.
Venue: Secret Gardens

If there's one thing I love about what I do, it's working with repeat clients and seeing little ones grow before my lens. I met Sophia as a newborn and recently, I had the privilege to join her family and friends in celebrating her first birthday. Sophia has these BEAUTIFUL blue eyes and so before I go into sharing more from her party, I just wanted to share this gorgeous image I captured that day.
Sophia made the most adorable Tinker Bell and the details of her party were just as adorable. Red Balloon Party & Event Rental did an amazing job!
Sophia's birthday celebration took place at Kydoo in Brickell and I loved that it was a private event so her guests were able to enjoy themselves without worrying about it being too crowded. I also loved the beautiful lighting that the big windows let in and the colors of the indoor playground. Isn't it pretty?
Overall, this celebration was so much fun and I'm so glad I was able to be a part of it. Hope you had the very best first birthday Sophia!
One thing is for sure - Sophia's family & friends know how to have fun! You should've heard them singing happy birthday and shouting with joy, LOVED IT! :)
Not sure how many of you are aware but "World Prematurity Day" is observed on November 17th each year to raise awareness of preterm birth and the concerns of preterm babies and their families worldwide. Approximately 15 million babies are born preterm each year, accounting for about one in 10 of all babies born worldwide.
It wasn't until I met a friend early this year, that I began to understand just a little in regard to what preemies and their families go through. It's amazing how these little warriors literally fight for their lives. Some make it and unfortunately, some do not. This year, I decided to dedicate a special setup to preemies in celebration of life.
A lot of preemies don't have the usual newborn photographs since they spend a lot of their first months on earth in the NICU. Their mothers also don't always get to take maternity photographs since they usually go into labor much earlier than expected. This was a special setup just for them because they are warriors and because they deserve to be celebrated daily! Enjoy some of my favorites from a session with two beautiful girls who have been friends since their NICU days.
I leave my preemie moms with some words of encouragement, "The strength and persistence of a premature baby fighting for life is unwavering, as is your love for them. Hope for a miracle, believe in miracles and hold onto your miracle tightly." - Julia Toivonen
November is known as the month in which we celebrate thanksgiving and today, I'm extra thankful for friends. Recently, I had the opportunity to enjoy a friendsgiving dinner with the Doral Vineyard Church youth leadership team which is pretty much family. I wanted to share how beautiful everything came out - a huge thanks to Andrea & Rachel on the amazing decor & all the thoughtfulness that went into every detail. You girls are amazing!
"There is no greater love than to lay down one's life for one's friends." John 15:13
I'm truly thankful for each and every one of them! It was so nice getting together to share great food, laughter and fun. Can't wait for next years! I encourage you all to do the same this year and set aside a day where you celebrate friendships in a special way.
First and foremost, I ask that you all bear with me as I attempt to get my blog game on. I've never been one to blog but I've come to understand the importance of it and thought it'd be fun to launch along with my website. My blogs will consist of recent work, personal stuff and whatever else I think of. That being said, I've decided to dedicate my first official blog to my all new branding! :) Here is my new logo:
"When I started working on Perfect Love Photography, the things that stood out were pure joy and light as Rosa captured those precious moments with children and families. These were predominant features of the portfolio, and this warm, summery vibe grew into a brand that truly captures a wholesome, perfect love." - Sarah, Wonderland Graphic Design
Sarah from Wonderland Graphic Design was beyond patient and relentless in helping me arrive at a logo that I both loved aesthetically and that was meaningful to me. So I'm sure you're wondering what the logo is all about. Well here it goes..
The colors: Gold was easy - it's just a fabulous color that makes me happy & Peach, well peach is my favorite color... it was my prom dress color, one of my wedding colors and my office has peach splattered all over it (see below)
The heart: I wanted to make sure I included the heart somewhere to go with the Perfect Love (1 John 4:18) which continues to play a huge role in my business day after day.
And finally, the hummingbird. As I sat at my desk brainstorming on what I wanted my logo to consist of, this picture of a bird came to mind and I thought about how birds are constantly moving just like children. So with that in mind, I did some research and along with the help of some friends, found the wonderful hummingbird. The hummingbird generally symbolizes joy & playfulness which I thought was perfect considering my sessions consist of lots of playfulness and joyful moments. As I continued to read on the hummingbird, I found other symbolic meanings for it that I felt fit so perfect with my branding/business like these:
lightness of being/enjoyment of life
being more present
swiftness, ability to respond quickly to changes
resiliency, able to keep moving tirelessly
