One of the first questions that I ask my clients is if they have a theme in mind for their birthday session. I like to incorporate something that the child is currently obsessed with or that reflects their personality. I do this because I believe it will allow for fun storytelling and reminiscing in the future as they look back on the images. When Mila's mother informed me that her daughter was obsessed with Target, my heart fluttered. Take a look at how we celebrated Mila turning two!
The first stop for Mila was cuddles and some posing with Bullseye! Then the exploring began...
I've had a few people ask so I want to make sure that I clarify that this is NOT a target shopping cart. It's a Little Tikes Shopping Cart that was spray painted red and gray and a Target sticker was added in the front.
Mila made a few stops including one her Star Wars fan dad was proud of. Then the real fun began..
Honestly, we had so much fun! Gotta love Target!
Mila made one last stop to get summer ready before it was time to checkout.
In honor of Mila's love for Target, mention this blog when you book your next session and receive a $20 Target gift card! How's that for some Target love?
Lexi is such a DIVA and I absolutely love it! Before she enjoyed ice cream, Lexi requested some cotton candy and of course - there was no saying no to this face! She enjoyed every last bite.
Did I mention she was a diva? Ha ha. Again, love it!
Such a pleasure capturing this beautiful girl again this year!! I hope you have a blessed third birthday Lexi and may God continue to bless you and your beautiful family!!
Six months ago I had the privilege of capturing the most special day for Annie & Dewey. They tied the knot at the Hard Rock Punta Cana and I'm excited to share a little as they celebrate 6 months today! We'll start with the bride and groom getting ready...
And once they were both ready, the first look happened (one of my favorite parts of the day)...
And off to the ceremony we went, what a beautiful day it was...
And of course, the night ended with some celebrating and dancing!
Annie & Dewey, I pray God continues to bless your marriage for many years to come! Thank you for allowing me to part of your special day!
Princess Sophia has been laughing in front of my lens for over three years now so I had to take some time to share this sweet session. This years theme was Disney's Princess Belle and I'm excited to share some of my favorites..
And now I present to you, the most beautiful Belle I ever did see...
I hope you had an amazing third birthday Sophia! May God continue to bless you with many years of laughter, joy & love!
If you follow us on Instagram, then you heard the big announcement via Instagram stories earlier today!
If you missed it, we announced our #perfectloveprinted campaign.
What is Perfect Love Printed?
Perfect Love Printed is part of our commitment to ensure that all clients walk away with beautiful memories that can live outsides of their computers, phones and hard drives.
According to research, photographers worldwide took approximately 14 trillion pictures in 2017. However, a shocking 53% of consumers have not printed a photo in more than 12 months, 70% do not have photo albums, and 42% no longer print photos at all.
Technology is changing so fast that photos taken five or six years ago are stored on devices that are no longer supported. Who remembers floppy disks?
CEO of PPA said it himself, “Unless we change our ways, I think time will prove that we have gambled away our family histories — trusting too much in our ability to protect our memories on our phones, tablets, and other devices,”.
What does this mean for you?
Perfect Love Photography has always taken pride in providing a superb client experience, capturing wonderful memories and leaving our clients with quality professional prints and products. However, we have decided to make some changes in order to provide more affordable printing options without compromising our quality.
As a way to celebrate this EXCITING change, any full portrait sessions booked between 2/9-3/9 will receive a complimentary 5x7 custom photo box with 10 professional prints as shown in the image above!
Oh but wait! It get's better...
My birthday is March 10th and I've decided to give away one of my favorite new ways to capture memories and instantly be able to view, touch and keep them: a Polaroid Camera Instax Mini 9! This way you keep the memories printing, no excuses! In order to be entered into the giveaway, share this blog on Facebook and tag Perfect Love Photography as your location OR visit our Instagram for a second way to enter! Good luck!

Want to make Valentine’s Day special for your little sweetheart but now sure how? Here are some fun ways to make the day special for all of you:
1. Bring Valentine's day to your kitchen. Heart shaped cookies are always fun and you can have these in two days with Amazon Prime. Another option is baking some cupcakes and decorating with love themed decorations - I thought these micro hearts from Target were cute! Lastly, for my little ones with dietary restrictions - make a Valentines day themed smoothie (here are some vegan options) or fruit kabobs using the same heart cookie cutters listed above.
2. Go on a date. Yes, with your little one! A few local Miami spots are perfect this Valentine's day. Bunnie Cakes Studio is beyond adorable and there's different cake and cupcake decorating options. Don't want to decorate cupcakes but still want to have something yummy? The Museum of Ice Cream is also a unique and fun location to check out!
3. Craft away! Whether your little one is ready to cut, color and paste or they are still too little to hold a crayon themselves, there's plenty of crafts you can make together! Parenting.com recently shared some craft ideas perfect for tots; click here to view more. Crafting is a great excuse to print some of those phone pictures you keep meaning to print and using them for a fun activity that will turn into a sweet memory.
Comment below with any Valentine's day traditions or fun activities you've done in the past or plan to do this year with your little ones, I'd love to hear them! Also, click here and join our newsletter for future blogs, giveaways and more! Hope you all have a sweet Valentine's day!
When Sophia’s mom contacted me about a “Tea for Two” session for Sophia's 2nd birthday, I knew it was going to be special! I was excited to capture Sophia for the second year and this theme sounded so sweet that I couldn't wait to start planning the session. I won't say too much more but take a look at how adorable this session turned out.
When I planned for this session, I had the idea of having a "getting ready" portion before the tea party and I'm so glad that I did because Sophia really enjoyed this part and I love the images I captured.
Without further ado, welcome to Sophia's tea party filled with tea, macaroons and sweet laughter!
Those macaroons were absolutely delicious, Sophia was so kind to share with me. I'm actually kind of hooked and recently bought a few, lol. Sophia, thank you once again for allowing me to capture such sweet moments. I hope your 2nd birthday is as sweet and amazing as you!
Cheers to our first blog of 2017 & cheers to this gorgeous couple!! When Annie told me she would be getting married at the Hard Rock Hotel in Punta Cana, I immediately thought of the perfect location for their engagement session. From that moment on, lots of planning went into choosing their outfits, her MUA and more! But as you will soon see, it was all worth it because it all came together so beautifully (along with the amazing weather God gave us for the day). Sit back and enjoy this perfect session! By the way, you can't tell in these first couple of pictures but I promise you it was nothing but non stop laughter trying to get pictures of these two; such a fun couple to work with!
I had this banner made for their session and love how it came out! Annie & Dewey can't wait for their November wedding!
These images are out of a fairytale!
Fun fact: this is actually the dress Annie was wearing when Dewey proposed to her!
So much love between these two, a blind man could see how perfect they are for each other!
When I saw this image, I squealed. The lighting, the couple, the kiss - just perfect!
& of course, we had to end the session with some Cubs love because well.. 2016 World Series Champs!
Annie & Dewey, thank you so much for allowing me to capture such a sweet time in your lives! Can't wait to see what a beautiful bride you will make Annie! May God bless you both with many years of love, laughter and happiness.
